A man in his 60s has died after a house fire in Co Roscommon.
The blaze began at a house in in Ballyleague late on Friday night.
Gardai and emergency went to the fire on the Roscommon-Longford border just before midnight.
The man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
It is understood he was alone in the house when the fire broke out.
Gardai said foul play is not suspected.
His body was removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Galway.
