A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, possession of class A drugs and driving while disqualified after a car flipped onto its roof in a crash in Salford.
Police cordoned off part of Leicester Road after the smash just after 8.10pm last night (Tuesday).
The driver, aged in his 60s, was arrested at the scene, a spokesperson for GMP said.
He was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, possession of class A drugs, driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance, and for failing to provide a sample.

He remains in custody.
Pictures taken at the scene last night showed the road cordoned off at the junction with Gainsborough Street.

Debris from the crash was left strewn in the middle of the road.
Police were pictured carrying out investigation work at the scene.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "We were called shortly after 8.10pm on Tuesday 11 January to a report of a collision that saw a car on its roof on Leicester Road, Salford.

"A man in his 60s was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, possession of class A drugs, driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance, and for failing to provide a sample.
"He remains in custody for questioning."
