Man in his 30s stabbed to death in Kingswood, south Co Dublin

A man in his late 30s has died after being stabbed in south county Dublin.

The incident happened at Brownsbarn Estate in Kingswood near City West at approximately 7am this morning.

The man's body was found outside a house.

One neighbour told The Irish Daily Mirror: "When I was leaving for work at 7.30am, I saw four garda cars, one ambulance and one fire brigade and I thought somebody must have been killed."

A garda spokesperson said: "It is understood from initial enquiries that a male has received serious injuries following a stabbing."

An investigation is now underway and gardai from Clondalkin are at the scene.

The man's body remains at the scene and gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
