Garda investigations are under way after an attack in West Dublin.
A man in his late 30s was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital after the assault in the Wellview Grove area of Mulhuddart on Tuesday.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in the Wellview Grove area of Mulhuddart, Dublin 15, on Tuesday, 28th December, 2021.
"A man in his late 30s was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital Blanchardstown with non-life threatening injuries.
"No arrests have been made at this stage of this ongoing investigation."
