A man was found dead at his home at the start of the third national lockdown.
Waseela Abdule-Wahab died alone in his house in Walton before his body was discovered on Wednesday, January 6.
The body of the 33-year-old was found at his home on Frodsham Street and police are now looking for the man's family.
A next of kin appeal has been launched by Merseyside Police and Liverpool Coroner's Office.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the force said: "Please share and help Liverpool Coroner's Office find the next of kin for a Walton man who recently died.
"33-year-old Waseela Abdule-Wahab sadly passed away at home on Frodsham Street on Wednesday 6 January.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
