A man in his 30s has died after he was found unconscious at his home.
At around 7.40am yesterday (Wednesday, January 12) emergency services were called to a house on Sussex Road, Southport.
It was reported that a man in his 30s was found unconscious at the house.

The man was rushed to hospital where he died.
He has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed.
Police have also confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
A file will be prepared and passed onto the coroner.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson told the ECHO: "We can confirm that officers were called to a house on Sussex Road, Southport yesterday morning, Wednesday 12 January.
"At around 7.40am it was reported that a man in his 30s was found unconscious at the address.
"Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital where he sadly passed away.
"The man has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
