A man was left with fractured ribs after being attacked by a gang member last month.
The victim, in his 20s, was walking on Wood Lane, Halewood, at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, September 13. He was then approached by a group of men, when at the junction with Wensley Avenue, near to the park.
One of the gang attacked the victim and attempted to take his mobile phone. The assault left him with bruises and fractured ribs.

The suspect is described as medium, stocky build and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a black ‘On Running’ tracksuit with reflective logos on the right chest and right hip area, with slim fit bottoms.
The tracksuit was hooded and he wore black sports gloves, and was reportedly wearing grey Nike Air Max 85 trainers. Witness, forensic and CCTV enquiries have so far proved negative and police are appealing for information.
Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden said: "This was a despicable act of violence which left the victim seriously injured. We’re hopeful that someone who was travelling on Wood Lane at between 10.30-11pm may have captured something notable on dashcams, or that there is CCTV or other information out there.
"We’re determined to do all we can to find those responsible so come forward and we will take action. You can pass any information via @MerPolCC with reference 22000685446 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
