A man has died following a crash in Wirral yesterday.
The man, who is in his 20s, was driving a motorcycle in Heswall yesterday morning (Monday, January 3), when he was involved in a crash with a car.
Emergency services were called to Chester Road, at the junction of Gayton Lane, after reports of a crash at around 10.15am.

Police confirmed that the crash involved silver Toyota Auris car and a red Honda motorcycle and that the rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The driver of the motorbike was described as being in a 'critical condition' and then died in hospital.
His next of kin have been informed.
The man driving the Toyota Auris was taken to hospital for minor injuries and is assisting police with enquiries.
