It has been confirmed a man in his 20s has died after a car crash last night.
Two others, both in their 20s, are in hospital with serious injuries after a car left the road and hit a tree. Lancashire Police are now investigating the fatal crash that happened on Runshaw Hall Lane in Euxton on March 15.
Emergency services were called to the road just before 8pm after an Audi A1 collided with a tree after leaving the road. The driver, from Leyland, died at the scene with two passengers, both also from Leyland, suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries, Lancs Live reports.

Runshaw Hall Lane was closed for a number of hours during investigation works. Police are now appealing for witnesses, CCTV and dashcam or mobile phone footage.
Sgt Peter Snook, of Tactical Operations, said: “This collision has sadly resulted in one young man losing his life and two others suffering serious injuries and my thoughts are with all those affected. I would appeal to anyone who either saw the collision or who may have CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage to get in touch.”
