A man in his 20s died when his car struck a wall yesterday evening.
The tragic collision occurred at approximately 6pm near O'Keefe's Cross in Dunhill in Waterford.
The man, who was the only person in the vehicle, was fatally injured in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford.
The road was closed but has since reopened.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Tramore Garda Station on 051 391620, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
