Man in his 20s arrested over mutilated cat in Cadbury Heath

A man has been arrested following the killing and mutilation of a cat in Cadbury Heath after the owners of the missing pet were sent a disturbing video.

Avon and Somerset police have been investigating since the video, which appeared to show family pet Morris after he had been attacked, was reported on Saturday (Sep 28) but it is believed the beloved animal was actually killed a week ago.

Police investigations revealed similar incidents have been occurring over the past month.

A man in his 20s from the Longwell Green area has been arrested and released under investigation.
