A man in his 20s has been arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a shooting incident in north Dublin.
Emergency services were called to Shangan Park in Ballymun on Sunday afternoon.
The gunman is understood to have fled the scene, and the woman, aged in her 50s, was treated on site for her injuries which are said to be serious but not life-threatening.
She was then taken to hospital and a technical examination of the scene was carried out.
Gardai say a man was arrested a short time later.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí have arrested a man, aged in his 20s, following a shooting incident which occurred in Shangan Park, Ballymun, on 28/06/2020.
"He is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Ballymun Garda Station.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at Ballymun on 01 666 4400 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111. Investigations are ongoing."
