A man is in disbelief after he was chased into a bank by a stranger.
The man, from Maghull, went to a cash machine that appeared not to be working. After two attempts to get money out, he turned to go into the bank and was quickly chased by a stranger.
He was approached after the stranger noticed he had left his "Christmas spends" in the cash machine.

The man has now reached out on Facebook after he wasn't given the chance to thank the man for his honesty.
If he doesn't find the man to give a reward to, he has vowed to make a donation to charity.
He posted: "Wow!! Thanks to an honest gentleman at the cash machine in the Square, my Christmas spends are now safely in my wallet.
"I had tried twice for the ATM to perform and twice it didn't and walked into the bank to find out why when a gent came in after me with my money.
"It all happened so fast, that I wasn't able to give him a reward for his honesty. If he is on Facebook and remembers the incident and replies to this, I will give a donation to charity. Many thanks and Happy Christmas."
The man then went on to comment: "Thanks to everyone for the nice messages. I was so very fortunate to have had my cash handed to me and I rather feel saddened that I didn't reward the gentleman.
"I hope he doesn't mind, but I have made a donation to "Scotty's Little Soldiers". It is a charity to help children where a parent has died, whilst on active service, with funds etc, especially at a time like this, where money could be tight for them to buy them presents."
