Man in critical condition in hospital after Bristol crash

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he came off his motorbike on a busy road in Bristol.

The man, who has not been named, was seriously injured on Coronation Road in Southville - the A370 road that runs along the south side of the River Avon New Cut.

The crash happened at around 4.30pm on Monday (January 25) and the road was closed from Asda for most of its length to Ashton Gate for much of the evening.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene, and he was taken to hospital, where he is still being treated and is in a critical condition, police said.

Now, collision investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam video taken from the area yesterday afternoon, to get in touch.
