A man has been taken to hospital following reports of a stabbing.
Police are at the scene of the "serious incident" in Newmarket Road in Bulwell, after reports first came in at around 11.30am this morning.
A man is in a critical condition in hospital and a scene is in place whilst police investigate.
Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch as soon as possible.
Inspector Georgie Ball said: “This a serious incident that has left a man in a critical condition.
“A cordon has been set up in Newmarket Road whilst we work to understand what happened.
“Anyone who has any information or dashcam footage of the incident should contact Nottinghamshire Police as soon as possible on 101 quoting incident number 215 of 7 November 2020.”
A resident at the scene told Nottinghamshire Live that East Midlands Ambulance Service are at the scene and police are "questioning people in the area".
