A man is in critical condition following a crash involving a car and a lorry in west Dublin in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The man, who is in his 40s, was raced to Tallaght Hospital following the collision which took place on the N7 near Rathcoole at around 4am on Thursday morning. His condition is described as critical but stable.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have since completed a technical examination and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A garda spokesman said: "Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the vicinity at the time of the collision are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on (01) 666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
