A 21-year-old is in hospital in a critical but stable condition after being involved in a fight in south Manchester.
Police were called to Aston Avenue in Fallowfield at around 6.15pm on Friday evening (June 18) after receiving reports of a fight.
Upon attending, officers established that several males had been involved in a fight in which some people had been armed with knives.

The men had already left the scene before police arrived.
A 21-year-old later self-presented at hospital with stab wounds to his leg and chest.
He remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
