Man in critical condition after 'casualty on the tracks' incident at Glasgow subway

A man is in a critical condition after an incident on the line at a Glasgow subway station.

Emergency services rushed to at 3.52pm on Thursday, November 7 after reports of a ‘casualty on the tracks’.

Both the outer and inner circles of the subway were closed while paramedics attended to the man.

He was then rushed to hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition after the incident.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Kelvinbridge station at 3.52pm on November 7 following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended and a man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
