Man in critical condition after car rolls over him

A 60-year-old man has been placed on life support after a car rolled over him, causing serious injuries.

Just after 4pm Monday emergency services, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, were called to a property at Singleton to reports the vehicle had crushed the man while he was loading it onto a trailer.

Paramedics attended the scene and commenced treatment. The man suffered serious head and chest injuries in the incident.

He was transported by ambulance to the Singleton Hospital helipad where the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Critical Care Medical Team collected him.

He was placed into a induced coma and put on life support before being flown to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
