A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being found in a river yesterday afternoon.
Police said the 32-year-old man was found unresponsive in the Fenwick Water in Dean Castle Country Park on Monday at 1.20pm.
He was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital, where his condition is described by medical staff as critical but stable.
Part of the park was taped off from the public on Monday and a police car was still at the scene late into the evening.
Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
