Man in critical condition after being found injured at Scots property as cops make arrest

A man is in a "critical condition" after being found at a Scots property.

Police have made an arrest after the man was discovered seriously injured on Castle Street in Tayport.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene after the incident happened at around 9.45am on Sunday, October 17.

Ambulance crews attended and the man was rushed to hospital where it's believed he remains in a critical condition.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police say their enquires remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 9.45am on Sunday, October 17, 2021 following the report of a man being found seriously injured at a property on Castle Street, Tayport.

"Emergency services attended and a man has been taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

"A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquires remain ongoing.

"Anyone with any information surrounding the incident should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1153 of Sunday, October 16."
