A man is in a "critical" condition after being found at the foot of a flight of stairs in a pub.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident which happened at The Railway, Bridgend, shortly before 1am on Saturday, December 11 .
South Wales Police say a 45-year-old man from Llanharan was found at the foot of a flight of stairs.
The man was transported to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he remains in a critical condition.

An eyewitness described seeing off-duty medical professionals at the scene who came to the man's aid after he reportedly fell down the stairs. They described the scene as "horrific".
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident which happened at the Railway Inn, Bridgend which happened shortly before 1.00am on Saturday December 11 th .
"A 45-year-old man from Llanharan was found at the foot of a flight of stairs. He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he remains in a critical condition."
