A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of East Kilbride woman Louise Aitchison.
The 33-year-old was pronounced dead when emergency services were called to her home in Park Terrace, West Mains on April 30.
Daryll Paterson, 35, appeared in private on petition at Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday charged with her murder and made no plea or declaration.
The 35-year-old, of East Kilbride, was remanded in custody and committed for further examination.
He is expected to appear back in the dock next week.
