An elderly man has suffered serious head injuries after being hit by a car.
The crash happened in Westbury Lane, near to its junction with Compton Drive, in Sea Mills in Bristol this morning (March 23) at 7.30am.
The injured man, in his 70s, is currently in hospital in a critical condition but remains stable.
Avon and Somerset Police has now issued a witness appeal.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, especially anyone who has mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident.
