Man in 40s 'seriously assaulted' in Enniskillen

A man in his 40s was 'seriously assaulted' on Saturday night in Enniskillen, police have said.

The incident reportedly involved another male and happened in the Kilmacormick area of the town before 9pm.

Limited details have been released by police.

Posting on Facebook they said: "Police in Enniskillen are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault which took place within the Kilmacormick area on October 30 2021 at approximately 8.30pm.

"If you witnessed this assault can you please contact Police on 101 and quoting reference number 1822 of 30th October."

When contacted by MyFermanagh, a PSNI spokesman added: "Police received a report that a man in his 40s had been assaulted by another male, this was reported at around 8.50pm."
