A young man was found dead in the early hours on a main road in Salford.
Police were alerted by the ambulance service to reports of concern for a man on Broad Street, Pendleton.
Officers attended and found a man believed to be in his 20s, dead.
The grim discovery was made at 1.45am this morning (Tuesday, July 7).
Detectives said there not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.
A GMP statement read: "At around 1.45am this morning (Tuesday 7 July 2020), police were called by the ambulance service to reports of concern for a man on Broad Street in Pendleton.
"Officers attended and sadly found the body of a man believed to be in his 20s.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a file will be passed to the coroner."
