Man hurt in Scottsdale shooting

4500 block of West 83rd Street | Google Maps

A man was shot Tuesday morning in the Scottsdale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 33-year-old was shot in the shoulder about 10:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of West 83rd Street, according to Chicago police. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Further details were not immediately available as Area Central detectives continue to investigate.
