Man hurt in domestic shooting in Grand Crossing

A 30-year-old man was wounded in a domestic-related shooting Tuesday morning in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.

The shooting happened about 7:20 a.m. in the 7800 block of South Ellis Avenue, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.

He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh, police and fire spokespeople said.
