One man's effort to support the younger generation backfired spectacularly - leaving him mortified.
If you've ever suspected that the old adage 'no good deed ever goes unpunished' isn't true, this will probably confirm it.
The man decided to support a gaggle of students protesting outside a school, after spotting them in the distance as he was driving past.
Equipped with signs, he could see parents and teachers supporting the protest - so thought it would be nice to honk in support.
Sadly his thoughtful attempt to bolster the students backfired.

Sharing the incident on Reddit, the 31-year-old man explained that - rather crucially - his car horn isn't currently working.
He wrote: "So today I was driving home from dropping off my girlfriend, as I was going along the main road next to the high school, I see a large group of kids with signs out front with teachers, parents, and whoever else.
"Now, my eyesight isn't the greatest, I can't read what the signs say from far away but whatever it is, if a bunch of kids and teachers are trying to show their support, it has to be something good right?
"So I thought ahh hell let's give them a honk whatever it is, and I remembered my horn just broke last week.
"I drive a six-cylinder Audi and it sounds pretty okay when you rev it up so I figured oh well I'll just give them a couple of revs to redline for fun, they might like that.
"So I give it a good rev, and another as I got up to them. Right about then, I notice the first legible sign is a painting of earth, with "help fight pollution" underneath....they pretty much all looked like.
"They took it as a huge f*** you and now I feel like an idiot."
Understandably, lots of people had one key piece of advice for the hapless driver - get glasses as soon as possible.
Another wrote: "Lmaoooooo, I totally feel you. I immigrated to a new country four years ago, and omg, one of the first things I learned was ''do not express support for a cause unless you can read (and understand) ALL the signs.'"
