A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries after a horror attack near a Paisley high school.
A 24-year-old was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital after the assault last night.
Police have launched a manhunt after the incident happened around 9.30pm at Stanley Reservoir near to Gleniffer High School.
Cops in Renfrewshire are now appealing for information and witnesses.
Detective Inspector Ian Ross of Paisley CID said: “We are appealing for the help of the public in tracing those responsible.
“We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything which may help with our investigation to get in touch.
“Likewise we would ask anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area at the time to review it and get in touch.”
