Man hospitalised with serious facial injury following attack on Lanarkshire street

A man has been hospitalised following a serious assault in a Lanarkshire street.

The 39-year-old victim suffered a serious facial injury from the attack on Donaldson Road in Larkhall.

Now police are appealing for information to trace the male suspect who made off after injuring the man.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident happened at around 3.30am on Saturday, June 4.

DC Christine McLanachan told Lanarkshire Live : “We are asking anyone one who may have seen what happened, or anything suspicious to get in touch.

“If you were driving in the area at the time and have dash-cam that could help with our ongoing enquiries then please also make contact with us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
