A man was hospitalised after suffering multiple injuries in an incident in Newport.
Gwent Police said the 28-year-old sustained injuries to his head, back and chest on Thursday afternoon.
He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, for medical treatment. Police said his condition is not life-threatening.
The incident happened between 3pm and 3.30pm near the Pill Millennium Centre.
A large police presence was pictured at the scene following the incident.
