Man hospitalised after 'disturbance' at Glasgow property

A man was hospitalised after being injured in a 'disturbance' in Glasgow last night.

Police and ambulance crews have scrambled to the scene of an 'ongoing disturbance' after the alarm was raised just after 6.40pm.

They raced to the scene in Moorhouse Avenue, in the Knightswood area of the city.

Officers from Police Scotland remained at the scene as they dealt with the disturbance.

The 28-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth hospital and treated for his injuries.

He was later released.

Police confirmed the incident and also that ambulance crews attended.

Officers said enquiries are ongoing.

A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance at a property on Moorhouse Avenue, Glasgow around 6.40pm last night.

“A 28 year old man was taken to The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to his injuries, he was later released.

“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
