A man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted by a man with a bladed weapon in Eastwood.
Armed officers were quickly on the scene following the incident, which happened in the street in Lawrence Avenue at 4.23pm on Tuesday, April 28.
The man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Inspector John Lees, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Officers are making enquiries in the area to establish the circumstances and locate the person responsible.
"At this stage it is believed this is a self-contained incident.
"I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time of the offence to get in touch with us on 101, quoting incident number 490 of April 28, 2020."
