Man hospitalised after being attacked in Bristol by a group of men

A man was hospitalised after being attacked by a group of young men in Bristol.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was punched and kicked a number of times causing significant injuries.

The attack was lead by a group of three to four men who are described as white, aged in their 20s and wearing tracksuits.

The incident took place on Airport Road between Parsons Paddock and Salcombe Road between 5pm and 6pm on Thursday, April 1.

Avon and Somerset Police are now appealing for witnesses after the assault.

The victim was given assistance by two women who were passing after the assault happened.

Avon and Somerset Police are keen to trace them as they believe they may be key witnesses.

The victim has since been discharged from the hospital after requiring treatment.
