A man has been hospitalised following an assault near a busy road in Glasgow.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 20 on Springburn Road.
The 21-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital but has since been released.
Police cordoned the road off in the area near Stan's Chinese Carryout.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.05pm on Saturday, June 20, we received a report of an assault on Springburn Road.
“A 21-year-old man was injured and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
