Man hospitalised after alleged assault in Dublin

A man was taken to hospital after an alleged assault in north Dublin.

Gardai were alerted to the alleged attack that happened on Seamus Ennis Road in Finglas just before 11pm on Wednesday, September 28. The man, aged in his 20s, was later taken to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital.

Footage of the scene seen by Dublin Live shows a number of garda cars, an ambulance, and a fire brigade unit parked outside the pub. The man is currently receiving treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, a garda spokesman confirmed.

He added: "No arrests have been made. Investigations ongoing."
