A man was left with a head injury after a fight outside a Merseyside pub.
Police were called to reports of a fight outside the Meadows Pub, in Liverpool Road South, Maghull, at around 6.15pm on Sunday, May 1. They said a man was hit in the head by another man causing him to fall to the ground.
The man then hit his head on the floor and was taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Detectives said he declined to make a formal complaint.

Officers, however, are now appealing for more information about the fight. A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information following an altercation in Maghull yesterday, Sunday 1 May. At around 6.15pm we received a report of a fight outside the Meadows Pub on Liverpool Road South.
"During the incident, it was reported that a man was hit in the head by another man, causing him to fall back and hit his head on the pavement. Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening head injury.
"He declined to make a formal complaint. CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out and anyone who witnessed the incident with any information is asked to contact police.
