A man was fatally struck by a vehicle last week in west suburban Countryside.

About 8:30 p.m. on June 18, a vehicle was westbound in the 6800 block of Joliet Road after exiting the Tony’s Fresh Market parking lot when it hit 50-year-old Ted Chudzik as he crossed the street, according to a statement from Countryside police.
