A man is in critical condition Saturday after he was hit in the head in Englewood on the South Side.
The 25-year-old was found about 3 a.m. in the 7000 block of South Carpenter Street, according to Chicago police.
Someone had hit him in the head with an unknown object, but the man did not see who did it and couldn’t provide further details, police said.
He was rushed to University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
