Man hit by car outside pub in town centre - police now appealing for witnesses

A man was hit by a car outside a pub in Chipping Sodbury, prompting police to put out an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.

The incident happened outside the Horseshoe pub in Broad Street on November 30 just before 5.40pm.

A red Citroen C1 hit a man and a parked vehicle.

The driver remained at the scene and the man was taken to hospital before later being discharged following treatment for his injuries.

The police are urging anyone who saw the collision or have dashcam footage of the incident or the moments before to get in contact through www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/contact, or call 101, quoting reference 800 of 30 November.
