A man was rushed to hospital with facial injuries after he was hit by a car.
Merseyside Police rushed to Kemble Street in Prescot at around 6.34pm on Thursday, December 23, following reports of a crash.
Once at the scene officers found a man had been hit by a car and was injured.

Officers closed the road in both directions at around 7pm while emergency services attended the scene.
The man was rushed to hospital with facial injuries by the North West Ambulance Service. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Kemble Road has now reopened in both directions.
