Man hiding from police blew his cover after farting loudly in the bushes

A man hiding from police blew his cover after farting loudly in the bushes.

Detectives had been searching for a man in the woods when they heard a noise in the bushes.

Officers said they executed a warrant for an address in Harworth yesterday and pursued the man near Brookside Walk, reports Birmingham Live.

One of the cops on the case said: "I was almost out of wind running but luckily [the suspect] still had some.

It was then they heard the sound "believed to be someone breaking wind from a nearby bush."

"I heard him letting rip and followed the noises to a bush."

Another man was found hiding behind a fireplace at the address.

A 35-year-old man was arrested after failing to appear at court and a 30-year-old man was arrested in relation to other matters, police said.
