JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir police has recovered live cartridges from a man in Miran Sahib area in the outskirts of police on Sunday.
According to police, during routine checking at Balool in Indira Nagar area of Miran Sahib, the police team intercepted one person for his suspicious movements particularly on seeing the police party.
"On his frisking police team recovered three live cartridges of AK-47 and two of SLR from his possession", police said.
"The accused named Ajay Kumar, resident of Ranbir Singh Pura was immediately taken into custody and ammunition was seized, police said.
"Meanwhile a case under three Arms Act was registered and further investigation is on," police added.
