Man held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder of teen shot in street

A man has been questioned by police on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

The 32-year-old man, from Liverpool, was taken into custody in connection with the murder investigation into the death of a teenager in Merseyside.

Nyle Corrigan, 19, was shot in Boode Croft, Stockbridge Village, on November, 12, last year.

He died from a single gunshot wound to the back at around 6.30pm.

Ten people have previously been arrested in connection with his death but nobody was charged.

On October 26, a 46 year-old man and a 44 year-old woman were arrested, in Huyton, on suspicion of assisting an offender.

On October 19, a 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

While on October 6, two women and one man were arrested in connection with the murder and previously to that another four people were arrested.

A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating the murder of Nyle Corrigan in Stockbridge Village in November last year have questioned a 32 year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

"The man, who is from the Liverpool area, was taken into the custody of detectives yesterday.

"He has now been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

"Nyle, 19, was shot in Boode Croft, Stockbridge Village, on November, 12, last year. He died from a single gunshot wound to the back at around 6.30pm.
