A homeowner heard strange noises coming from the attic and was shocked to find a random woman was living up there.
Davis Wahlman began noticing rustling sounds coming from his roof and eventually went to have a look what was going on.
The door to the loft space was locked and when he gave it a knock a voice called out.
She said: "Jimmy? Is that you, Jimmy?"
The door was then opened to reveal a dark haired woman wearing gym bottoms and a tracksuit jacket.
She was holding a rucksack.
Jimmy asked what she was doing in his house and she said it was her home.

Jimmy, from Green Lake, in Washington, USA, told KOMO she said: “This is my house. I live here. I've been here for three days. Jimmy said I could live here, Jimmy said I could stay here."
He had called the police as soon as he heard the woman's voice and so continued to keep her engaged until officers could arrive.
However, he said by the time they did respond the woman had fled.

Jimmy said: “I absolutely support the cops, I love the police officers and I’m really happy they did show up, but as I’m telling someone on dispatch that there’s someone in my house, 'Hey, please bring help' and it took 18 minutes – that’s a little disappointing.”
The force told the news outlet, however, responders were dispatched within six minutes of the phone call.
Wahlman said he had no idea how the woman got into his home.

There was a window screen in his bath and his fire escape ladder was hanging from the deck.
He said nothing was stolen, but has since had his locks changed.
He added: "To come into a house like this, in this neighbourhood, that's clearly being lived in, that's bold.”
