Man has tooth knocked out after being attacked in town centre as police issue CCTV appeal

A man lost a tooth and was left injured after being attacked in Warrington town centre in the early hours of May 14. Police were called to reports of the assault on Legh Street at around 1am.

A 22-year-old man suffered facial injuries in the attack and lost one of his teeth. Cheshire Police have now issued a CCTV appeal of a man they wish to speak to as part of their ongoing investigations.

Anyone with any information about the pictured man, or witnesses to the attack, is being urged to contact police.

Police Constable Anna Hull from Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “This investigation is ongoing and we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may be able to help with our enquiries.

“If you think you recognise the man or have information regarding his identity please come forward. I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch.

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 1546898. Information can also be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
