An “unprovoked” violent attack outside a pub left a man fighting for life with a bleed on the brain.

Two men, in their 50s, were found knocked unconscious lying on the pavement outside the White Hart pub in Eltham High Street just minutes after the 10pm lockdown curfew.

Police said the pair were assaulted by three men after leaving the pub. The “disgraceful” attack left a  59-year-old man in a critical condition with a bleed on the brain.

A 53-year-old man received treatment for a serious head injury and has since been discharged from hospital.

Police have released images of two men they would like to trace after being called to the assault at 10.20pm on Saturday, 24 October.
