Man had kilo and a half of cocaine and heroin

A man found with a kilo-and-a-half of Class A drugs and £85,000 faces sentence.

Police found the items when they searched a property connected to Kevin Moyle.

He appeared at Bristol Crown Court via video link today (September 30, 2020).

Moyle, 58, of Moorlands in Bath, pleaded guilty to possessing with intent to supply quantities of cocaine and heroin and possessing £85,591.30 in criminal property.

What happens during a legal trial?

The court heard it is Moyle's third drug trafficking conviction.

David Scutt, prosecuting, asked that sentence be postponed.

He told the court police linked Moyle to a kilo of cocaine and half a kilo of heroin.

He said further analysis of the drugs and phones was ongoing and other people are being investigated in connection with the case.

Mr Scutt said Moyle's basis of plea was likely to be that, for two years, he was forced to deal drugs by people from the Liverpool area.

He told the court: "The Crown says he is significant role, of not higher."

Judge Julian Lambert adjourned the case for mention on November 13.
