A domestic violence victim was threatened with a poker at her Hamilton home.
Joseph Kelly admitted threatening his wife, Louise, struggling with her and causing her to fall to her injury at the house in Carscallan Road on February 9.
The 34-year-old was given a 12-month supervision order at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
Kelly, now of Crichton Walk, Carluke, was also ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid community work.
